About Irene
Irene is a writer and creative director currently working on a nonfiction book about polyamorous parenting. Blending personal narrative, interviews, and social research, her work explores how families can thrive beyond traditional structures. Irene’s writing is grounded in lived experience and driven by a deep commitment to feminist values, bodily autonomy, and the complexities of care.
She has over 15 years of experience in editorial leadership, content strategy, and brand storytelling. Her essays and editorial work have appeared across platforms ranging from independent media to branded publications, often centering stories of identity, design, and social change. Irene consults on communications and creative direction for brands under the name of Elevate Content, and is a co-founder of Cinema For Good, a cultural initiative designing immersive film festivals for independent cinemas.
Irene approaches collaborations with empathy and curiosity, creating space for voices and stories that are too often overlooked. She holds degrees from Columbia University and Parsons School of Design, and lives in San Francisco with her awesome kid and co-parents.
